Spooks the Cat needs a home
Spooks came to Purrfect Pals through a local shelter transfer after his previous owners decided he needed more attention than they could provide. Spooks is a handsome, older gentleman who loves to sleep much of the day away. He does have playful streaks where you start to question if he really is as old as he is. He loves to receive pets and will often give you little meows of assurance that you are doing a good job. He seems to tolerate other cats, but we are unsure how he would do around a dog. Spooks has been around older children and loves to play with them, but because of his age and health, we recommend he go to a peaceful, quiet home. Spooks is in renal failure, which means he requires some special care. He occasionally receives fluids and needs to be on a prescription diet to keep him at his best. He also has a heart murmur he has likely had his whole life, but it is currently not an immediate issue to his health. Spooks has a beautiful long coat that he does occasionally need help grooming, so we recommend regular brushings or grooming sessions. This sweet old guy is ready for a retirement home where he can feel safe and comfortable. Like all Purrfect Pals cats, Spooks has been viral tested, altered, microchipped and started on vaccines.
